\n\t\t\t\t\tFrom the 2026\/27 season, conductor Luka Hauser serves as First Kapellmeister and Deputy General Music Director at the Nationaltheater Mannheim<\/strong>. In this role, he conducts new productions of Maria Stuarda and Exile, as well as performances of Simon Boccanegra, La Boh\u00e8me, Nabucco, and Les Contes d\u2019Hoffmann. He also assists GMD Vladimir Jurowski on the new production of G\u00f6tterd\u00e4mmerung at the Bayerische Staatsoper<\/strong>. Further engagements during the season include appearances with the Orchestra della Toscana<\/strong>, the Teatro Petruzzelli<\/strong>, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker<\/strong>, and the M\u00fcnchener Symphoniker<\/strong>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tPreviously, Luka Hauser spent three seasons as Kapellmeister and Assistant to General Music Director Cornelius Meister at the Staatsoper Stuttgart<\/strong>, where he conducted performances of Falstaff, Rusalka, Don Giovanni, Madama Butterfly, Dialogues des Carm\u00e9lites, and Carmen.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tIn June 2025, he made his debut at the Teatro Petruzzelli<\/strong> in Bari with a production of Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. His recent symphonic engagements include Mahler\u2019s Symphony No. 5 at the MusicaRiva Festival<\/strong>, Fuat Saka\u2019s Dark Waters with the Philharmonie S\u00fcdwestfalen<\/strong>, Brahms\u2019 Symphony No. 4 at the Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle<\/strong>, the New Year\u2019s Concert of the Staatsoper Stuttgart<\/strong>, a symphonic concert with the Orchestra del Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi di Trieste<\/strong>, and family concerts with the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker<\/strong>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tOver the past years, Luka Hauser has also collaborated with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin<\/strong>, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong>, the G\u00f6ttingen Symphonieorcheste, Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein<\/strong>, the Staatskapelle Weimar<\/strong>, and the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie<\/strong>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tHe gained valuable experience as assistant to distinguished conductors including Zubin Mehta at the Staatsoper unter den Linden<\/strong>, Markus Stenz at Teatro La Fenice<\/strong> in Venice, and Markus Poschner at the Landestheater Linz<\/strong>. He was a finalist in several prestigious international conducting competitions, including the Guido Cantelli International Conducting Competition<\/strong> (Italy, 2024) and the Siemens Conductors Scholarship<\/strong> of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic<\/strong> (2024). At the Malko Competition<\/strong> 2024, he conducted the Danish National Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>, having previously reached the semi-finals of the Tokyo International Conducting Competition<\/strong> (2021).<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tBorn in Spain in 1997 into a family of musicians, Luka Hauser began studying piano at the age of five. He studied piano at the Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste Berlin<\/strong> with Gottlieb Wallisch and conducting at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin<\/strong> with Christian Ehwald, Alexander Vitlin, and Markus Stenz. He has received further artistic guidance in masterclasses with Uro\u0161 Lajovic, Sir Donald Runnicles, Daniele Gatti, Sian Edwards, and Andr\u00e9s Orozco-Estrada, and was a scholarship holder of the Forum Dirigieren<\/strong>.<\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tTogether with string players from the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik HfM \"Hanns Eisler\" and the Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste UdK Berlin, he founded the ensemble \"Berlin Young Soloists\" in 2021. In November 2021 they gave their debut in the concert hall of the UdK with works by Dvo\u0159\u00e1k, Mahler and Barber. Further concerts followed as part of the Crescendo Festival Berlin.<\/span><\/span>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\tIn May 2023 Luka Hauser completed his conducting studies at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik \"Hanns Eisler\" in Berlin with Christian Ehwald, Alexander Vitlin and Markus Stenz.
